It was great to see everyone back today, well-rested after the summer break. A warm welcome to our new S1s who settled in really well and it was fantastic to see everyone looking so smart in their uniforms and ready to meet the challenges of the new academic session. A really positive start to the year! Many thanks to all parents/carers, pupils and staff.
We have been advised that from August meal prices are increasing by approximately 7.5% - the new price for for a Dine in Day in secondary schools is £2.60 and for primary schools it's £2.25.

Last night we welcomed the majority of new S1 parents and carers and our S1 parent information evening, on what was a wet and windy night. Over 100 young people and their families attended to hear about how their child will be supported throughout their learner journey at Linwood High School from Pupil Support, Pastoral care, Senior Leaders and from a trio of young people moving now into S2. Many thanks to all who attended and supported this successful event last night.

Senior pupil badged and braided blazer are £49.95 this year (usually £60)
Junior pupil blazers are £29.95 - £34.95 depending on size.

Rapid Response 2018 - Well done S2 who took part in the disaster response off-timetable event today in the sunshine for once! Thank you to June from Glasgow University and the Institute of Civil Engineers and to Michael from Black and Veatch for being our experts for the day.
Congratulations to S4 pupils for gaining their Cycle Maintenance Award and thank you to Gerardo at Pedalwise for teaching them their spokes from their inner tubes and even getting them on a unicycle.
