Well done to S5 Musician Jordan Stewart who has continued her recent successful run of competitions. Jordan secured first place in the "Ataea Charity Competition" on Friday night where she performed two songs - one original and one cover. Jordan was one of the youngest in the competition, so this was a great achievement.
Just a reminder that our S4 Parent/Carer Meeting is tomorrow from 4pm until 6.30pm. We look forward to seeing you then.

A HUGE thank you to all of the staff and pupils involved in fundraising for such a great cause this week.
Through fundraising events such as Soak The Teacher, Dress Down Day, Bake Sales and our Talent Show we raised: £850
We still have a few more contributions to count so please do bring in any last minute donations. Thanks to everyone at Linwood High for coming together to support others.
Thank you to all S1 parents and carers who attended last night's meeting. Particular thanks to those who took time to complete the S1 Questionnaire. We will collate and publish results in our Xmas Newsletter.
The pupils at Kintyre Base were focusing on anti-bullying week and wanted to see what they could do to raise awareness. We found the idea to make a tree showing the progression from what it feels like when you are being bullied to how you can get help to what it feels like when you are included. This shows the range of emotions felt by different people and grows from something negative to something positive. It is located at the front door, so everyone can see it.
Congratulations to S5 Musician, Jordan Stewart, who has made it through to the Final of the Jim Diamond Music Award. This is an amazing achievement to get this far and we wish her the best of luck tomorrow night when she will perform at the Final in Glasgow. If successful Jordan will be one of two outstanding young people to be recognised, who are making their mark on the music industry.
Linwood High School was thrilled to host the official signing of the Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce schools partnership agreement with Renfrewshire Council on Tuesday 8th November. We are very grateful to the Chamber for its continuing support of the school and the brilliant STEM fortnight that we took part in when S2 visited Thermofisher in October.
In commemoration of all who have been killed in all wars and conflicts.
