Modern Language learning focusses on 4 main skill areas - Listening & Talking, Reading & Writing.
But in Modern Languages it's not just about the language skills of Reading, Listening, Talking & Writing, it's also about all the other transferable skills you can acquire, skills which will prepare you for the world of work beyond school - improving literacy skills, listening skills, presentation skills, critical thinking skills, problem-solving, working with others, working to a deadline, sharing ideas, being resilient, independent learning skills, analysis of language, being responsible, supporting others.
