Congratulations to Ben and other students from Mission Discovery at University of the West of Scotland, led by astronaut Tony Antonelli. What a tremendous achievement!
Now that we have fully launched Show My Homework as our preferred method of communicating homework tasks and class test dates to parents & carers, the Homework Hub section of the school website has been retired. If you have not yet connected to your child's account on Show My Homework via the website online or the free app, you can still find out what homework has been set via the dedicated Show My Homework button on the school website. Should you require your unique pin number in order to connect, you can retrieve this through your child's app details or please contact the school office for further information.
Your child should come home with a letter and information pack about Show My Homework today. Show My Homework is our new way of communicating with pupils and parents/carers about what homework has been issued, providing resources and allowing parents to feel more engaged in the process.
While some staff have already been trialling the use of Show My Homework with classes, all staff will be trained this week in advance of our full launch on Monday 27th January. All the information you need should be in the parent letter and pack coming home today, but you can find out more about it from the Satchel website. You can also view what homework has been issued, by which member of staff and when it is due from the dedicated Show My Homework Menu button on the school website. West College schools programme and FA event will be held on 4th February 6pm – 8pm.
