Just a reminder, as per the school calendar, that the school is closed on Monday 2nd December for St. Andrews Day. The school will reopen on Tuesday 3rd December at 8.50 am.
Many thanks to all staff, pupils and parents from East Fulton Primary School and Linwood High School, and to all our stallholders, for making this year's joint Christmas Fayre such a success! As the School's Social Media Manager, I am in the fortunate position to see a lot more of what goes on around the school than others, to see the commitment and dedication of our pupils in so many areas, and to see a different side to pupils than just in the classroom.
Today I want to focus on a particular group of S3 boys who have gone over and above to represent their school in sporting activities this week. I had the pleasure of driving Kyle, Matthew, Ty, Sam and Abdul, along with the rest of the team, yesterday evening to play against Clydeview Academy in the St. Mirren Cup at Gourock and tonight they are again supporting Linwood High School, along with Lyle, in the Renfrewshire Schools Volleyball tournament. Although the team lost to Clydeview, the boys gave it their all. Well done guys, you are leading others in how to contribute to the wider life of the school. Just a reminder that the joint Linwood High and East Fulton Primary Christmas Fayre takes place on Thursday 28th November at Linwood High from 7pm to 9pm. Entry £2.

Our final total for the sponsored walk is a tremendous £1316. A huge thank you to all staff & pupils, families and friends who contributed to this amazing total. The S6s who organised this event were very keen to donate some of the money raised to a local charity and after many long discussions, they have chosen to donate to RAMH. This is a Renfrewshire charity which helps people recover from mental ill health. The S6s thought this was a very worthwhile cause as our sponsored walk took place on World Mental Health Day. https://ramh.org/ Well done to the Under 14s Linwood High School boys' football team who defeated Castlehead High School 10-0 on Wednesday 13th November. Goal scorers for Linwood were Lewis S2 (4), Luke S2 (2), Luis S1 (2) Owen S2 (1) and Aiden S1 (1).
