Huge thanks to Gordon and Innes our Linwood Community Police Officers for visiting Modern Studies and RMPS today to talk to S4 about how the police tackle crime and about the ethics involved.
Just a reminder about our upcoming event: To celebrate the Year of Young People 2018 Linwood High School pupils and teachers have been working with East Fulton and Woodlands Primaries to showcase the next generation of creative talent. Join us for some live music, dance and art created in workshops by Primary 7 pupils to inspire them to take part creatively when they reach high school next year. Come along and support your youngsters and show your appreciation for all their hard work and commitment to this exciting project, and of course the concert will have an interval where you can purchase home baking and teas and coffees.
Good luck to all Linwood High School pupils participating in the World Pipe Band Championships this weekend!
It was great to see everyone back today, well-rested after the summer break. A warm welcome to our new S1s who settled in really well and it was fantastic to see everyone looking so smart in their uniforms and ready to meet the challenges of the new academic session. A really positive start to the year! Many thanks to all parents/carers, pupils and staff.
We have been advised that from August meal prices are increasing by approximately 7.5% - the new price for for a Dine in Day in secondary schools is £2.60 and for primary schools it's £2.25.
