A black and white cat was found by the side of the road at Stirling Marine this morning. Sadly we were unable to help and we have brought it to the school. If anyone is available to scan to identify ownership, please contact the school on 01505336146. Thank you.

S2 today enjoyed the Fun Maths workshop. Thanks to STEM Connects at Glasgow University for lending us the material and to the whole Maths department for running the event. Thank you to Thermofisher for having our S3 STEM Girls group along to their presentation about careers in science for United Nations Women's day on Friday 16th February 2018.
![]() The S2 Personal Development: Fundraising class would like to thank all those who supported their bake sale on Monday 19th February, either by providing tasty treats or by buying them. In total they raised an impressive £111.30 for Cancer Research UK. New page launched on the website: LHS Resource Area with topic-based links on support and advice for a range of topics. First topic to be listed is Coping With Exam Stress and there are follow-on links for pupils, parents and teachers.

Alyx Gray in S3 has been successful in winning a place on the 1000 Girls 1000 Futures programme with the New York Academy of Sciences!!
She is now a Young Member of the Academy and will be assigned an International mentor to work with her on her journey to sciency brilliance! Alyx also gets the chance to go to compete against other Scottish Young Members to win a trip to New York. Our Senior Phase Progression meeting takes place on Thursday 15th February 2018 from 6pm to 7pm.
Thanks to Skills Development Scotland's Stephen and Norman for putting our new S3 My World of Work Ambassadors through their training today. Our Ambassadors will be a tremendous resource, helping other pupils to learn how to use the SDS Website, which is your one stop shop for Employability and Careers support.
