Please note the upcoming sessions for Higher and Advanced Higher Biology from Scholar:     For all those interested in being part of the aerial performance in Paisley's Halloween celebration there is the chance to book up for a half hour taster session on an aerial rig coming to Linwood High School on Wednesday 26th Setember 3 to 6pm in the street. Sign up sheets are on the door of the community partners room. Being organised by All or Nothing Aerial Dance Company.
Also a costume designer will be coming to LADDS on Thursday nights to help people to create costumes to be part of the parade. Further information available from Wendy Grubb. Just a reminder that Buddy meetings between S1 and S6 will take place breaktimes and lunchtimes over the next two weeks. Pupils can check the times in the Street Area.

 Many thanks to all parents, carers, family, friends and staff who attended our Awards Ceremony this evening at Linwood Parish Church. It was a wonderful occasion to celebrate the achievements of our young people. Here is a brief video of highlights - more photos will follow soon. We are looking forward to our Annual Awards Ceremony tomorrow, Thursday 6 September, at 6.30 pm at Linwood Parish Church to celebrate the achievements of our young people. Tea/Coffee will be provided in the church after the ceremony.
First year and S5&6 buddy catch up is this Friday, 7th September, at lunch-time. Details to be posted in school.
Our first PIP event will be on Wednesday 12th September at 5 pm. More details to follow soon!
 Some of our pupils attended the recent national launch of the strategic partnership with Young Scot and Scottish Government. This Scottish Attainment Challenge project will see Youth Services working with partners to target young people, reducing barriers, opening up opportunities to connect, access, and experience learning and health and wellbeing activities.
Fiona Taylor, Youth Services Manager, commented "All the young people who attended were fantastic on the day – a real credit to your school, and to Renfrewshire. They introduced our VIP guests from Scottish Government, Young Scot, Transport Scotland, the Improvement Service, our local senior managers, neighbouring local authorities and Renfrewshire’s Young People Champion to the Deputy First Minister. They facilitated, led on activities, gave speeches, and were able to feedback their views on how to create solutions to some of the problems faced by their peers, across Scotland."
