Well done to S5 Musician Jordan Stewart who has continued her recent successful run of competitions. Jordan secured first place in the "Ataea Charity Competition" on Friday night where she performed two songs - one original and one cover. Jordan was one of the youngest in the competition, so this was a great achievement.

Thanks to everyone at Linwood High for coming together to support others. Thank you to all S1 parents and carers who attended last night's meeting. The pupils at Kintyre Base were focusing on anti-bullying week and wanted to see what they could do to raise awareness. We found the idea to make a tree showing the progression from what it feels like when you are being bullied to how you can get help to what it feels like when you are included. This shows the range of emotions felt by different people and grows from something negative to something positive. It is located at the front door, so everyone can see it.
Congratulations to S5 Musician, Jordan Stewart, who has made it through to the Final of the Jim Diamond Music Award. This is an amazing achievement to get this far and we wish her the best of luck tomorrow night when she will perform at the Final in Glasgow. If successful Jordan will be one of two outstanding young people to be recognised, who are making their mark on the music industry.
